Chris Key
Owner and Head Instructor
Chris Key is the Owner and Head Instructor at Greenville Martial Art Center in Greenville, SC, where he has dedicated over 17 years to serving the community through martial arts. A graduate of Clemson University, Chris first became involved with martial arts in 2002, upon joining the Clemson Hapkido Club. His passion and commitment led him to establish the first martial arts school in Greenville. He began learning taekwondo shortly after, in 2008, when he joined Grandmaster Brunner's Traditional Taekwondo system out of Tampa.
Peter Tran
Kyo Sah Nim (Certified Instructor)
Peter Tran is a Kyo Sah Nim, or Certified Instructor, bringing 13 years of martial arts experience to the GMAC team. Having trained in multiple disciplines, including taekwondo and hapkido, Peter has developed a well-rounded skill set that enriches his teaching methods. In 2023, he achieved his 1st degree black belt in taekwondo and also earned his 1st kup in hapkido, showcasing his commitment to continual growth and mastery in martial arts. Peter plays a vital role in curriculum development and student engagement, ensuring that each participant not only learns effective techniques but also builds confidence and discipline.
Raahil Vora
Kyo Sah Nim (Certified Instructor)
Raahil Vora is a Kyo Sah Nim, or Certified Instructor, with over 10 years of martial arts experience. As a 2nd degree taekwondo instructor, Raahil has demonstrated his dedication and skill in the art. His extensive knowledge and passion for taekwondo enable him to instill discipline and respect in his students, fostering an environment of growth and support.
Mariah Burch
Office Manager
Mariah Burch serves as the Office Manager at the Greenville Martial Art Center in Greenville, SC, where she combines her extensive background in childcare with her passion for martial arts. With 11 years of experience working in child development, including a role at the children's museum, Mariah has developed a unique ability to engage with students and their families effectively. A dedicated mother, she balances her family life with her commitment to martial arts as a 2nd kup assistant instructor in taekwondo and a blue belt in hapkido. Since stepping into the role of office manager in 2020, Mariah has played a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the center, ensuring that each student receives the support and care they need to thrive both on and off the mat.
